It’s a hot, humid day in Philadelphia . . . in November. Rodrigo hopes to sell enough lemonade to be able to buy a pass to his neighborhood’s cooling center. But a recluse in the rowhouse next to his lemonade stand takes the lemonade stand in an unexpected direction, opening a doorway into something that connects us all, that we can barely begin to understand.
